Commission projects
I love working closely with restaurants and private clients to bring custom ideas to life. Whether it’s a set of personalized cups, a full tableware collection, or something in between.
Below you’ll find a glimpse of some of the projects I’ve done so far. Each one is unique, but all share the same approach: handmade with care, designed with purpose, and always rooted in my own style.
If you’re dreaming about something special, I’d love to hear about it
Projects for restaurants - overview
bkrY invitations/coasters
Inspired by bkrY’s in-house stone mill, these one-year anniversary invitations were designed to match the bakery’s craftsmanship - raw, tactile, and thoughtful. Each piece was designed to be kept - doubling as a coaster and a lasting reminder of the occasion.
A hand holding a round stone engraved with text about a one-year anniversary celebration in Dubai.
A blue ceramic bowl on a white textured coaster, placed on a dark wooden surface.
Round white commemorative cookies with engraved text reading 'bky', an anniversary date, time, and location, scattered on a light-colored surface.
Stacked round paper coasters on a white surface.
Stacked white handmade ceramic coasters with textured and engraved designs, placed on a table near a cardboard box labeled "NAJA HANDMADE CERAMICS".

Close-up of two white textured tablets engraved with text, one partially visible above the other, celebrating a one-year anniversary at a location in Dubai.
A dark blue ceramic bowl on a white stone coaster on a wooden surface. To the left, glasses and a cloth with a pattern are partially visible, with a blurred background.

Two round, textured soaps on a wooden surface surrounded by sunflower seeds. One soap is embossed with the word 'by' and has an engraved message below, reading 'One-Year Anniversary June 18, 2015 7:00 PM Alserkal Avenue Dubai.' The other soap has a carved pattern of lines.
Stacks of round, beige tablets or cookies arranged in groups on a light-colored surface.
Sake cups
Bespoke sake cups, colour-matched to the restaurant’s brand and embossed with its logo. Each set of six was carefully packed in a custom-made box and gifted to the restaurant’s Japanese investors.
A black box with the words KIYOSHI on the inside lid, containing six green round objects with silver floral embellishments. A green gift bag with black handles and a Japanese character on it stands behind the box.

Green ceramic bowl with Chinese characters, placed on a cream-colored cloth-covered surface.
Miso Soup bowls
Lidded miso soup bowls in a sleek matte black finish, crafted to complement the restaurant’s Japanese aesthetic. The lid serves a dual purpose: keeping the soup warm and offering a place to rest the spoon while dining.
Serving ring
A porcelain serving ring designed for a bit of tableside theatre. The dish is plated inside, and the ring is gently lifted off in front of the guest. Hand-painted with the restaurant’s logo and crafted in white porcelain for a clean, durable finish.
Ramen Bowls
Elegant ramen bowls with integrated pockets to rest chopsticks and a gently curved rim for comfortable holding - perfect for drinking the last spoonful of broth. Color matched to reflect the restaurant’s brand.
