FAQs

Can I order something custom made?

Yes! I’m always happy to explore custom designs - especially if you’re drawn to my style. I don’t copy other artists’ work 1:1 - I love working with ideas and creating designs that align with my aesthetic. Feel free to share inspirations photos with me and then we will take it from there - I will always aim to add my own personal touch to your custom order to create something unique just for you!

Is there anything you don’t do?

While I consider myself a pretty versatile potter and I’ve explored different styles over the years, I like to play on my strengths and focus on what I do best: wheel-thrown ceramics. My pieces are usually refined and minimalistic, rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and inspired by Japanese functionality.

If your vision is something completely outside that style, I might not be the best fit, and that’s totally okay. In the end, I want you to end up with a piece you love.

That said, don’t hesitate to reach out anyway. I’m always open to hearing your ideas, and we’ll figure out together whether I’m the right one to bring them to life.

How long does it take?

Since it’s just me handling everything from creating to shipping, custom orders usually take around 4–6 weeks from the time I receive your upfront payment. Handmade ceramics take time, but it’s worth the wait.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the design, complexity, material and quantity, but I’ll always send you a clear quote before we begin. Each piece is handmade from quality materials and crafted with care - no shortcuts here.

Do you make large batches?

I usually work in smaller batches (1-100 pieces) to make sure each piece gets the attention it deserves. If you’re after a one-off piece, feel free to reach out. In case you need more than 100 pieces, I am happy to accommodate - I might just need more time than 4-6 weeks.

Do you offer a prototype or sample first?

If we're working on a completely new design - especially for a restaurant or a larger order - I highly recommend starting with a prototype. It’s the best way to align expectations and fine-tune the design before I move into full production. Expect approximately 1-2 weeks to make a prototype. I need to charge for the prototype, as it requires both time and materials on my end - and in case you decide not to move forward, it ensures I’m not at a loss.

Do you offer custom logos or branding?

Yes, I do! I enjoy playing with subtle embossing and glazed logos - especially for restaurants or special commissions. Let me know what you have in mind.

How does shipping or pickup work?

I offer worldwide shipping and studio pickups in Dubai. For larger local orders, I may also be able to deliver myself - just ask.

How does the process work?

Here’s what you can expect after reaching out:

  1. You send me a message via the contact form or via Instagram with your idea.

  2. We chat! I’ll follow up with any questions and we align on a direction.

  3. I send you a quote based on your request.

  4. If it’s a new or complex design, I’ll recommend we start with a prototype to test the shape, size, or glaze.

  5. You confirm and pay the full amount upfront.

  6. I begin making your order

  7. 4–6 weeks later, your custom order is ready for pickup or delivery!
